Concrete floor laitance removel

  • Spirit level for checking the concrete level

The laitance removel is very important for your new pumped screed.

Helps it to dry faster and bond better the levelling compound with a flooring primer.

The moisture must to be below 75%. If is over and you don’t underfloor heating, needs DPM or liquid epoxy membrane. Usually takes months to dry for itself.

The tool showing very high reading of moisture. The current concrete is without underfloor heating.
Testing concrete floor with underfloor heating. The tool is connected with the box which was 72h on the floor with heating off of 48h before the box was placed.
